S-163 - 06/25/1968 - VARIATION - Ordinances I I ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE OAKBROOK ZONING ORDINANCE I Whereas, the owner of the property more particularly described hereinafter has petitioned the corporate authorities of the Village of Oakbrook for a variation to the rules and regulations of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, with respect to front yard setback requirements in an "R-3 Single-Family Detached Residence District; and, Whereas, a public hearing, pursuant to' said request, has been held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook; and, Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion that a variation should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage' County, Illinois: Section 1. That the applicable rules and regulations of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook', Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, contained in Section VII , E, 8 (a) , requiring a front yard of not less than forty (40) feet in depth, is hereby varied reducing said front yard requirement to a depth of thirty (30) feet six (6) inches on the following described lot, to-wit: j Lot 1 in Windsor Subdivision in the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in DuPage County, Zllinois, the general location of the property being 2800 York Road, Oakbrook, Illinois. Section 2 . Pursuant to the authority of Section XIII , G, , 4 (c) , the granting of the variation herein is conditioned and restricted upon the owner of record installing a hedge separation of not less than two (2) feet in height located between the four (4) foot walk easement appearing on the plat of subdivision and the driveway, shownl on petitioner's Exhibit "A" . Section 3 . That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases made and provided.
