S-164 - 07/09/1968 - VARIATION - Ordinances i r ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE OAKBROOK ZONING ORDINANCE Whereas, the owner of the property more particularly herein- after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the Village of Oakbrook for a variation to the rules and regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook with respect to lot area in an R-1 Single-Family Detached Residence District; and Whereas, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook; and Whereas, the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the variation be granted; and, Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion that a variation should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois: Section 1. That the applicable rules and regulations of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, contained in Section VII' C 3, pertaining to lot area in an R-1 Single-Family Detached Residence District are hereby varied reducing said lot area requirements to permit the division of the following described property into two (2) building lots of less than two (2) acres, but not less than 1.9 acres, in area, to- wit: "The East 108 feet of the West 257 feet (as measured parallel with the Westerly line thereof) of the North 59 feet of the South 322.5 feet (as measured parallel with the Southerly line thereof) of the South half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, also the South 263.5 feet of the South half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in DuPage County, Illinois." the general location of the property being on North Adams Road be- tween 35th Street and Spring Road, in the Village of Oakbrook. f� -2- Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases made and provided.
