S-171 - 09/10/1968 - VARIATION - Ordinances I ORDINANCE NO. S-L 7 1 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE OAKBROOK ZONING ORDINANCE Whereas, the owner of the property more particularly herein after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the Village of Oakbrook for a variation to the rules and regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook with respect to parking for motor vehicles in the side yard of property in an ORA-1 zoned area; and 9 Whereas, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook and Whereas, the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the variation be granted; and Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion that a variation should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois, as follows: Section 1. That the applicable rules and regulations of Sec- tion X, B, 5, (b) and Section XI, E, 7, of "The Zoning Ordinance j of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, of 1966", being Ordinance r G-60, as amended, are hereby varied to permit the construction, maintenance and operation by applicant of a parking area in the east side yard to provide thirty-seven (37) parking spaces on the property described as: i Lot One in Oak Brook Development Company's Subdivision Number One of parts of Lot One and a vacated portion of public street in Butler Company M-1, Incorporated Assess- ment Plat Number 4 situated in the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded June 11, 1968, in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois, as Document No. R68-23922 in DuPage County, Illinois; the general location of the property being at the Southwest corner of Wir&or Drive and Swift Drive in the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois. I 3 Section 2. The granting of the variation herein is restricted; i and conditioned pursuant to the provisions of Section XIII, G, 4, _ � 1 r i i •a A : _2_ to require that applicant substantially conform to the design and planting features shown on its "Exhibit 1", attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. Section 3. That this Ordinance- shall be in full force and ef- fect from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases made and provided.
