S-174 - 10/22/1968 - VARIATION - Ordinances / -- 1 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE OAKBROOK ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, the owner of the property, more particularly herein- after described, has petitioned the corporate authorities of the Village of Oakbrook for a variation to the rules and regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook with respect to front yard set-back requirements and parking set-back require- ments in an ORA-1, Office-Research-Assembly District; and, WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook; and, WHEREAS, the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the variation be granted; and, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion that a variation should be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois: Section 1. That the applicable rules and regulations of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, of 1966" , as amended, contained in Section X, B-5 , pertaining to front yard re- quirements be varied to permit a front yard of fifty-five (55) feet rather than one hundred (100) feet, and to vary the requirements of ' Section XI , E-7, of said Zoning Ordinance to permit a set-back of forty (40) feet for automobile parking along Enterprise Drive on the following described property, to-wit: i - Lot 16 in Central Industrial Plaza Subdivision, a sub- division in part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23 , and part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Town- ship 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded June 1, 1965, as Document No. R65-18254, in DuPage County, Illinois, t the general location of the property being 725 Enterprise Drive, Oakbrook, Illinois. Section 2. The granting of the variation herein is restricted and conditioned pursuant to the provisions of Section XIII , G, 4, (c) , to require that applicant substantially conform to the site plan and design shown on its sketches No. 125 and No. 170 which are I attached hereto as Exhibits l and 2 and by this reference made a i part..hereof. 1 t - Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases provided.
