ORDINANCE NO. S-211
AN ORDINANCE REZONING TERRITORY WEST OF
ADAMS STREET AND SOUTH OF GLENDALE IN
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois:
Section 1. That a certain ordinance, passed and approved by
the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook on
March 22, 1966 , entitled "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966" , as subsequently amended, be and the
said zoning •ordinance is hereby again amended so that the classifi-
cation and zoning of the territory described as:
(a) Starting at the Northwest corner of the Northeast
quarter of Section 2, Township 38 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian in DuPage
County, Illinois , proceed South along the. West
line of said Northeast quarter 331.4 feet to a
point of beginning, then continue South along said
West line 994 .2 feet to the Southwest corner of
Lot "B" Benes Plat of Survey, then East 1314. 6
_ feet to_.the _center line of Adams .Road thence North
along said center line to the North line of O'Neil &
Solch's Subdivision, thence West along the North
line of O'Neil:_. & Solch's Subdivision -to the point
of beginning;,
(b) Che-Val Subdivision being a subdivision in the
Northeast quarter of Section 2, Township 38 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian in
DuPage County, Illinois,
be and the said classification or zoning of said property is hereby
changed and re-classified from Class "R-l' Single-Family Detached
Residence District" to Class "R-2 Single-Family Detached Residence
District" under said zoning ordinance as so amended, and the said
zoning ordinance, as amended, and the zoning district map, as amended,
i of the Village of Oak Brook be and the same are hereby further amended
and changed so that the above described territory shall be and appear
in said Class "R-2 Single-Family Detached Residence District" .
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and . after its passage and due publication.
