AN ORDINANCE GRANTING
A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF
"THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, OF 1966
AS AMENDED
Whereas , the owner of the property more particularly herein-
after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the
Village of Oak Brook for a special use permit in accordance with
the rules and regulations of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 196611 , as amended, with respect to the
construction and operation of a drive-in banking facility; and
Whereas , a public hearing pursuant to said request has been
held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook;
and
, reas, the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended
that t4 special use permit be granted; and
Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion
that a special use permit should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois , as
follows :
Section 1 . That a special use permit be, and hereby is, granted
for the construction and operation of a drive-in banking facility on
the hereinafter described real estate, and as set forth in the revised
site plan of June 18, 1971 attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2 . That the real estate effected hereby is legally
described as , to-wit :
Lot 2 (except the West 529 feet thereof) in Oak Brook
Development Company' s Commerce Plaza Subdivision Unit
One, being a subdivision of part of Lot 2 and all of
Lot 3 in Oak Brook Investment Company Assessment Plat
No. 4 and part of Lot 1 and all of Lot 3 in Butler
Company M-1 Inc. Assessment Plat No. 1 , all in' the
Southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 39 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, as
per plat thereof recorded July 12 , 1968 as Document
No . R68-30335, in DuPage County, Illinois ,
commonly known as the southwest corner of Enco Drive and Commerce
Drive, Oak Brook, Illinois .
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such case
made and provided.
