AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY {0-2(*,.*71
TO THE VILLAGE OF OAX BROOX, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS RS(W.K. L'
Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of � ,�,
Oak Brook have considered the question of the annexation of certain
parcels of streets or highway right--of-way; and
Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook have determined that the parcels in question are contigu-
ous to the existing Village Limits of Oak Brook, are not within the
corporate limits of any other municipality, and desire that said
parcels be annexed to the Village of Oak Brook=
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, as
follows:
Section 1. The following described territory, all lying in
Towns 1 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian
in DuPage County, Illinois, and being dedicated or used for street
or highway purposes, is hereby annexed to the Village of Oak Brook,
Illinois, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-1-10 of the
Illinois Municipal Code, as amended (Chapter 24, Section 7-1-10,
Illinois Revised Statutes, 1969) :
a) The South 33 feet of Section 27 from the West Right of
Way Line of Midwest Road (the centerline of which is the
East Line of the South West quarter of the South West
quarter of Section 27) to the West Line of Section 27.
b) The South 33 feet of Section 28 from the East Line of
Section 28 to the West Line of the East 570 feet of
the West half of the South East Quarter of Section 28.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage
and approval according to law.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook is
hereby autho zed and directed to file with the Recorder of Deeds
of DuPage County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinances to-
gether with an accurate Plat of the annexed territory, said Plat
certified by said Clerk as correct.
