AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION
OF JORIE BOULEVARD IN THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS
Whereas , it is deemed by the President and Board of Trustees
that a portion of the street commonly ,known as Jorie Boulevard in
.the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois , should be vacated for the pur-
pose of realignment to a point further est of the present location;
and
Whereas , it is deemed by the President and Board of Trustees
that said vacation for the purpose of such realignment would be in
the best interests of the gene al publi6 and the municipality;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois , as
follows:
Section 1. It is hereby determined that the best interests of
the people of the Village of Oak Brook and of the municipality will
be served by vacating that portion of Jorie Boulevard described as
follows:
That part of Jorie Blvd. , Ias Dedicated in Corporate Plaza
Subdivision Unit One, being a subdivision of parts of
Sections 25 and 26 , Township 39 North, Range 11 , East of
the Third Principal Meridian, as per plat thereof recorded
October 14, 1970 as Document No. R70-37311 described as
follows: 1
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of lot 6 in said
Corporate Plaza Subdivision Unit One; thence S. 0° 02 ' W.
along the West line of Jorie Blvd. ,;; as dedicated per
Document No. R70-37311, a distance 'of 148.24 feet to the
most Southerly point of said Jorie !Blvd; thence Northeasterly
along the Southerly line of said Jorie Blvd., being an arc
of a circle, having a radius of 474 feet, being convex to
the Northwest, an arc-distance of 4,144. 50 feet to a point of
tangency as shown on plat recorded ';per Document No. R70-37311;
thence S. 99°-53' -10" W. along a line 100 feet Southerly of,
measured at right angles to and parallel with the South lines
L,.. of lots 3 to 5, both inclusive, in ''Corporate Plaza Subdivision
Unit One, aforesaid, a distance of ,321.99 feet to a point of
tangency; thence Westerly along an arc of a circle, having
a radius of 330. 82 feet, being convex to the North, the chord
thereof having a bearing of S. 89° 46 '-47" W. , a chord and
arc-distance of 1.74 feetito a point on the Southerly line
of lot 6, aforesaid; thence Southwesterly along said Southerly
line of lot 6 , which is also the Northerly line of Jorie Blvd. ,
as dedicated per Document 'No. R70-3'17311, being an arc of a
circle, having a radius o 574 feet;, being convex to the
North, an arc-distance of 73.79 feet to the place of begin-
ning, containing 0.4802 A res more or less , all in DuPage
County, Illinois.
Section 2. The Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook is
hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance in the
office of the Recorder of DeedE of DuPag,,e County, Illinois.
Section 3. This ordinanc shallibe� in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
