AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF "THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, OF 1966" AS AMENDED
Whereas, the owner of the property more particularly herein-
after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the
Village of Oak Brook for a variation to the rules and regulations
of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois , of
1966" , as amended, with respect to side yard parking requirements; and
Whereas, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been
held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook; and
Whereas, a unique situation exists on the subject property; and
Whereas, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook have reviewed the proceedings and are of the opinion that
a variation should be granted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois , as
follows :
Section 1. That the applicable rules 'and regulations of "The
Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966" ,
as amended, contained in Section XI , E, 7 , are hereby varied to
permit construction of 49 parking spaces in the side yard adjoining
a street. This variation is conditioned, however, upon the area
parallel to Harger Road being screened with year around landscaping
of the same kind and character of the burm and landscaping existing
along Harger Road and further, meeting the other landscaping
requirements for parking areas under the Ordinances of the Village.
Section 2. The real estate effected hereby is legally described
as, to-wit:
Part of Lot 1 in Oak Brook Investment Company, Assessment
Plat No. 4 of part of the East half of Section 23,"
Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in DuPage , County, Illinois.
The common location of the property is at Spring and Harger Roads,
Oak Brook, Illinois.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such case
made and provided.

The Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois , this 11th
