ANETEXING CERTAIN
SURROUNDED TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF OA{ BROOK.
tivhereas , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook have considered the question of annexation of certain
surrounded land to the Village , and
Whereas , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
have determined that the property hereinafter described is less
than 60 acres, is wholly bounded by one or more municipalities ,
is contiguous to the Village of Oak Brook, and
Whereas , due notice of the contemplated annexation was
published not less than 10 days before the passage of this
Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook as follows :
Section 1. The following described territory, pursuant to
the provisions of Section 7-1-13 of the Illinois Municipal Code,
as amended (Chapter 24, Section 7-1-13 , Illinois Revised Statutes,
1971) is hereby annexed to the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois , to
Wit:
The North 265 feet of the South 815 feet, except the
West 202 feet and the East 570 feet thereof, of the
West half of the South East quarter of Section 28 ,
Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal-
Meridian- in York Township, DuPage County, Illinois.
Section 2 . The Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook is hereby
directed to record a copy of the Ordinance together with an accurate
map of the annexed territory with the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage
County, Illinois .
Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage
and approval as provided by law.
