AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE SALE
OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY
Whereas , three-fourths (3/4) of the Corporate Authorities
of the Village of Oak Brook presently holding office have
determined that it is no longer necessary or useful or in the
best interest of the Village of Oak Brook to retain ownership
of certain 1960 Pontiac ambulance; and,
Whereas , pursuant to Chapter 24 , Section 11-76-4 of the
Illinois Revised Statutes , it provides that the Corporate
Authorities can dispose of advertising for the sale of such
personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, as follows:
Section 1. The Village Manager is hereby directed to sell
the 1960 Pontiac ambulance now owned by the Village of Oak
Brook, said sale to be conducted by solicitation of bids for
the sale of said ambulance from such parties , persons , corporations,-
governmental bodies and individuals as he may determine to be
interested in the acquisition of said ambulance.
Seciton 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by
law.
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook , DuPage County, Illinois , this 12th
