AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK OF 1966
AS AMENDED
Whereas, the Burroughs Corporation has requested that
parking be permitted on certain property being leased from
Northern Illinois Gas Company, and
Whereas, the Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook
has recommended that part of the required off street parking
spaces be permitted on the property leased from Northern Illinois
Gas Company.
NOW, - THEREFORE,_ BE- IT ORDAINED by_ the-_Presid.ent.and:Board_ of -
Trustees of the Village- o.f Oak- Brook, DuPage -County.-. Illinois, -as
follows.- -- .
Section 1. Section XI, E, 2, is hereby amended to permit
part of the required off street parking of the Burroughs Corpora-
tion to be on property which does not contain the principle use
or structure, said property being leased from Northern Illinois
Gas Company and-legally described as follows:
An irregular- trapazoidal parcel -of -approximately
41, 126. 25 square .feet, bounded on -the -South by
the northerly line of the Northern Illinois -Toll-
Highway (East-West-Route) , bounded -on- the West -
by--the-west line of the Northwest -Quarter- of----Section-
27-39-11 and bounded on the North and the East by
Lot 4 of Butler Company-M-1, Inc. , Assessment Plat
No. 6.
Section 2. This variation runs to the Burroughs Corporation
and shall expire upon expiration of the lease of the foregoing
property by Burroughs Corporation from Northern Illinois Gas
Company. The legal description for which this variation applies
is as follows:
Lot 4 of "Butler Company-M-1, Inc. Assessment Plat
No. 6" , being a subdivision of part of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 27 and part of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 28, Township 39 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to
the Plat thereof recorded July 20, 1964 as Document
R64-25049, in DuPage County, Illinois.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such case
made and provided.
