AN ORDINANCE NAMING A PREVIOUSLY UNNAMED STREET
"WOOD GLEN LANE" WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, There is located within the Village of Oak Brook,
DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, an unnamed street which connects
Woodside Drive to York Road; and
WHEREAS, Section 11-80-19 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised
Statutes (1975) authorizes the Corporate Authorities of each municipality
to name any street, avenue, alley, or other public place; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Oak Brook
deem the passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest of the Village
of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois,
SECTION 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby restated herein as though herein fully set forth.
SECTION 2: That the previously unnamed street within the Village of
Oak Brook which connects Woodside Drive to York Road is hereby named
"Wood Glen Lane" and said street shall hereafter be known as "Wood Glen
Lane".
SECTION 3: That, the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to
amend the official maps of the Village of Oak Brook to comply with the
provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak
Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 5: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, or phrase of
this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall
not affect the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as provided by law.
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook this L3 day of January, 1976.
