S-370 - 03/08/1977 - LICENSE -ALCOHOL - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. 37rJ AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REGULAR ELECTION OF OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois, as follows: SECTION 1: There shall be a regular election of Officers of the Village of Oak Brook on April 19, 1977. SECTION 2: At the aforesaid election there shall be elected the following Officers for the terms stated: three (3) Village Trustees for four (4) year terms; and one (1) Village Trustee to complete the unexpired two (2) years of a four (4) year term. The ballots to be used in such election shall be in the form prescribed by statute, and it shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to see to the preparation of sufficient ballots for such election and to cause a sample of such ballots to be published prior to the day of elec- tion in a newspaper of general circulation in the Village and to provide the necessary election supplies for the voting precinct. SECTION 3: At least fifteen (15) days, but not more than thirty (30) days, before the aforesaid election, the Village Clerk shall cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Village a Notice of Election, which shall be substantially as follows: NOTICE OF ELECTION On the 19th day of April, 1977, there will be a regular election in the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois, to elect: three (3) Village Trustees for four (4) year terms; and one (1) Village Trustee to serve the unexpired two (2) years of a four (4) year term. The Precinct and Polling Place for such election shall be: PRECINCT NUMBER 1 The entire Village of Oak Brook will constitute a single precinct. Polling Place: Village Commons 1200 Oak Brook Road Oak Brook, Illinois Polls shall be open from 6:00 a.m, to 6:00 p.m. of that day. Published by order of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Counties, Illinois. President r Village Clerk SECTION 4: The Precinct and Polling Place for the aforesaid election shalt be as designated in the preceding Section hereof, SECTION 5: The following individuals are hereby designated and appointed Judges of Election for the aforesaid election: Bess Bozovsky Irene C ihak Lilia M. Juarez Cecile Martin Wanda Maxon Lorraine L. Parrin SECTION 6: The aforesaid election and all matters pertaining thereto shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by Statute for the conduct of a regular election for Village Officers. SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by Statute in such case made and provided. This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form. SECTION 8: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict. SECTION 9: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such determination shall- not affect the validity of any remaining portion of this Ordinance.
