AN ORDINANCE ELECTING 'PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL CITY P,IANAMIENT
ASSOCIATION RETIREMENT OORPORATION DEFERRED MMSATION PLAN
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
-Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
A DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN is hereby established by the Village of Oak
Brook (hereinafter the Employer) by agreements with the INTERNATIONAL CITY MANAGE
IM ASSOCIATION RETIRErENT CORPORATION and with the employees, officers, and
officials of said Employer who become party to this agreement, by reason of a
. "Joinder Agreement" signed at this time, or at some time in the future; and
WHEREAS, the Employer has certain employees rendering to it valuable ser-
vices; and
WHEREAS, the Employer is able to provide its employees with certain benefits
under this Plan which assure to those participating employees reasonable retire-
ment security; and
WHEREAS, the Employer receives benefits from this Plan by increasing its
ability to attract and retain competent personnel and by increasing its flexibility
in personnel management; and
WHEREAS, the Employer has established the INTERNATIONAL CITY MANAGEMM
ASSOCIATION RETIREMFU CORPORATION DEFERRED OORRPENSATION PLAN and has caused it
to be executed by the official affixing his signature on behalf of the Village of
Oak Brook.
NOW, THER IURE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook that the Village of Oak Brook, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois, does hereby elect to participate in the INTERNATIONAL CITY MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATION RETIREMENT CORPORATION DEFERRED OOMPENSATION PLAN effective January 1,
1978, and that a certified copy of this ordinance be filed with the INTERNATIONAL
CITY tCLATIC71`t. �� TION.
