AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE MODIFICATION AND ffiH ME NT OF THE
OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND OFFICIAL MAP OF THE VILLAGE
OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNFIES, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook
heretofore adopted an Official Comprehensive Plan and Official Map for the Village
of Oak Brook which was subsequently modified; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees recently deemed a current
review of said Plan and Map to be advisable and requested the Plan Commission of
the Village to undertake such a review; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission, pursuant to said request, made a com-
prehensive study of the economic and physical factors affecting. the Village of Oak
Brook in relation to said Official Plan and Map; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to statutory notice the Plan Commission held a public
hearing to consider proposed modifications and amendments to said Official Plan
and Map and thereafter submitted its report and recommendations in this regard;
and
WHEREAS, not more than ninety (90) days have elapsed since the public
hearing on the proposed modifications and amendments was concluded; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem the passage of this
Ordinance to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the public health,
safety, and general welfare of the Village of Oak Brook,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
Section 1: The provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby re-
stated herein as though herein fully set forth.
Section 2: The Official Comprehensive Plan and the Official Map of the Village
of Oak Brook, Illinois, initially adopted in June of 1969 and modified in February
of 1973 is hereby further modified and amended in pertinent part by substituting
for Section II Chapters 5 and 6 and Plates 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 thereof, the
contents set forth, in the. document entitled "May 4, 1978 revision to Village of
Oak Brook Comprehensive Plan a copy of which is annexed hereto, identified as
Exhibit ''A" and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 3: The said Official Comprehensive Plan and Official Map of the Village
of Oak Brook, Illinois, as initially adopted in June of 1969, modified in February
of 1973, and further modified by the provisions of this Ordinance is hereby re-
stated and re-adopted and confirmed as the Official Comprehensive Plan and Official
Map of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois.
Section 4: Copies of said Official Comprehensive Plan and Official Map, as
modified, including the modification identified as Exhibit A hereto, and all
pertinent plates and exhibits, shall be kept on file with the Village Clerk of the
Village of Oak Brook for public review and inspection during normal business
hours. A notice of the adoption of the modification and amendment of said
Official Plan and Map as herein provided shall be filed with the Recorder of Deeds
of DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect as provided by Statute
of the State of Illinois ten (10) days after the date of filing of said notice of the adoption
of the modification and amendment of said Official Plan and Map as herein provided
with the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois.
SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form. .

The undersigned, MARIANNE LAKOSIL, the duly qualified and
acting Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties,
Illinois, pursuant to and in accord with the provisions of Chapter 24, Sec-
tion 11-12-7, Illinois Revised Statutes, 1977, does hereby give notice that
Ordinance No.0" 411-02-6 relating to the modification and amendment of the Of-
ficial Com re ensive lan and Official Ma of the Village of Oak Brook,

Illinois, previously approved and adopted was passed and approved by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, at a
regular meeting of said President and Board of Trustees on May 4, 1978.
Copies of said Official Comprehensive Plan and Official Map, including
the modification and amendment heretofore referred to, together with all plates
and exhibits thereto, are on file with the undersigned as Village Clerk of the
Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, and are available for public review and ~
inspection at the Oak Brook Village Hall, 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook,
Illinois 60521, during normal business hours.
