AN ORDINANCE DECLARING RESULTS OF THE REGULAR MUNICIPAL
ELECTION IN AND FOR THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of April, 1979 there was
held in and for the Village of Oak Brook, Du Page and Cook Coun-
ties, Illinois an election for the purposes of electing a Village
President, a Village Clerk, and three Trustees , each of whom is
to serve a four-year term; rand
WHEREAS, the said election has been regularly called
and held as provided bylaw, and the returns of said election, in-
cluding the tally sheets , poll records, certificates of results ,
and other returns of said election have been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook; and the returns are now before
the President and Board of Trustees, and the said Board is familiar
therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows :
Section 1: That the election held on the 17th day
of April , 1979, was held in all respects as provided by law. Notice
of said election was given by publishing the notice once , on March
22, 1979, in the Doing ' s , which newspaper has general circulation
within the Village of Oak Brook, and which date was not more than
thirty (30) nor less that fifteen (1S) days in advance of the date
of said election. The judges appointed by this Board were duly
. qualified to fill such offices , and were duly sworn to perform their
duties before the commencement of the said election. The returns
of said election have been duly canvassed by said judges and were
filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook.
Section 2 : The President and Board of Trustees find
from a canvass of the returns of said election that the following
votes were cast in each of the said precincts in favor of the follow-
ing persons at said election:

of the Village of Oak Brook for a term of four years ;
Marianne Lakosil to be elected as Village Clerk
of the Village of Oak Brook for a term of four years ;
