AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE
OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED
BY THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE
AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the corpor-
ate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook it is no longer necessary
or useful to, or for the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook
to retain the following described personal property; one (1) 1955
American LaFrance aerial ladder truck and appurtenant equipment , now
owned by it ; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Flossmoor, Illinois has offered to pur-
chase that personal property for the sum of Twenty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($25 , 000. 00) ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set
forth are hereby incorporated herein as though fully set forth. herein.
Section 2 : Pursuant to Section 11-76-4 , the Village Manager be
and is hereby authorized and directed to sell the said 1955 American
LaFrance aerial ladder truck and appurtenant equipment now owned by
the Village of Oak Brook to the Village of Flossmoor, Cook County,
Illinois for the sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25 ,000 . 00) .
Section 3 : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by at least three-fourths of all the corpor-
ate authorities and approval in the manner provided by law. .
