AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE S-447 , AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE USE
AND OPERATION OF THE FACILITIES KNOWN AS THE SPORTS
CORE, AND ESTABLISHING POLICIES FOR THE' OAK BROOK
GOLF CLUB AND ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE SWIM TEAM
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook has heretofore acquired 269
acres of property and improvements previously known as the Butler Inter-
national Sports Core , and now known as the Oak Brook Sports Core ; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook have previously established rules and regulations governing
the operation of the Sports Core facilities through the adoption of
Ordinance S-447 , passed and approved March 25, 1980 ; and
WHEREAS, the said President and Board of Trustees deem the
amendment of those rules and regulations established pursuant to
Ordinance S-447 to establish a swim team fee schedule to be in the best
interests and furtherance of the general welfare of the citizens of the
Village of Oak Brook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
as follows :
Section 1 : That the provisions of the preamble hereinbefore
set forth are hereby adopted as though herein full set forth.
Section 2 : That Section III (F) (4) of Exhibit "A" of Ordinance
S-447 entitled "Swim Team Fee Schedule" be and is hereby amended to read
as follows :
Swim. Team Fee Schedule :
Ist child in family $35. 00
2nd child in family $30 . 00
3rd child in family $25. 00
all additional children No Charge
Section 3 : That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed,
to the extent of such conflict , provided that Ordinance S-447 , except
as hereby amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4 : That the provisions of this Ordinance are deemd
severable and the validity or invalidity of any part thereof shall not
affect the validity of the remaining provisions thereof.
Section 5: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to publish- this Ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner pro-
vided by law.
Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet
form, all as required by law.
