ORDINANCE NO. S-454
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE S-447 OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK AND ESTABLISHING REVISED RULES AND REGULATIONS
GOVERNING THE USE AND OPERATION OF THE OAK BROOK GOLF CLUB
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook have previously established rules and regulations
governing the operation of the Oak Brook Golf Club in adopting Ordinance
S-447, passed and approved March 25 , 1980 ; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the said
Village believe the amendment of said rules and regulations for the Oak
Brook Golf Club to be in the best interest and in furtherance of the
general welfare of the citizens of the Village of Oak Brook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1: That Section II-A of the Oak Brook Sports
Core Operating Policies , Exhibit "A" to Ordinance S-447 of the Village
of Oak Brook, be and is hereby amended by amending the definition of
"resident" therein to read as follows :
Resident - Any person permanently residing within
the corporate limits of the Village of Oak Brook
and all full-time permanent employees of the Village
of Oak Brook as defined in Article I of the Personnel
Rules $ Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook
Section 2 : That Section II-B(2) of the Oak Brook Sports
Core Operating Policies , Exhibit "A" to Ordinance S-447 , be and is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following sub-section (e) , which sub-
section shall read as follows :
Non-resident memberships and corporate resident
employee memberships shall be limited to a maximum
number as follows :
Non-resident 166
Corporate Resident Employee 76
Section 3 : That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same are hereby re-
pealed to the extent of such conflict , provided however, that except
as amended hereby the provisions of Ordinance S-447 of the Village of
Oak Brook shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4 : The Village Clerk is hereby directed to pub-
lish this Ordinance in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
Section 5 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form, all as required by law.
