AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL
PROPERTY - SURPLUS FIRE HOSE
WHEREAS, three-fourths (3/4) of the corporate authorities of
the Village of Oak Brook presently holding office have determined
that it is no longer necessary or useful or in the best interest
of the Village to retain ownership of certain personal property
described as "surplus 3 inch fire hose" ; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 24 , Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois
Revised Statutes , the corporate authorities can dispose of such per-
sonal property in the manner set forth therein; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook has advertised for bids for
the sale of such surplus personal property; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids have been duly received and considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :

Section 1 : That the bid of the Village of Lombard, Lombard,
Illinois for twenty (20) 50 foot lengths of 3 inch diameter Bilateral
Durabuilt Hose of One Dollar and Twenty Cents ($1 . 20) per foot , total-
ling One Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Dollars and No Cents ($1 ,270. 00)
be and is hereby accepted.
Section 2 : That the bid of the Yorkfield Fire Protection
District for ten (10)100 foot lengths of 3 inch diameter Protector
Hose with 2-1/2 inch Pyrolite Couplings for Fifteen Hundred Dollars
and No Cents ($1 ,500. 00) be accepted.

Section 3 : That the Village Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to transfer said property as described in Sections 1 and 2
hereof for the accepted purchase prices , and further, to execute any
required documentation to effect the transfer of ownership of said
equipment.
Section 4 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and ef-
fect from and after is passage and approval as provided by law.
