.AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
SALE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, Illinois have heretofore, by ordinance to
retain ownership of certain property described as 100 chairs
presently utilized at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club ; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem to
retain ownership of certain property , and the passage of this
Ordinance to be in the best interest and in pursuance of the general
welfare of the Village ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows :
Section 1 : That the Village Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to sell personal property described as 100 dining
room chairs presently utilized at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club ,
to be conducted by sale of said chairs on a first-come, first-serve
basis for the sum of $30 . 00 (thirty dollars) each .
Section 2 : That the Village Manager is hereby further
authorized and directed to advertise the offering of such personal
property for sale pursuant to the terms and conditions noted in
Section 1 hereof. •
Section 3 : That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by
law.
