SUPPLEMENTAL ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE GENERAL.
CORPORATE FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1, 1983 AND ENDING
APRIL 30, 1984 FOR THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,ILL.INOIS
WHEREAS, on July 12, 1983 the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak
Brook adopted Ordinance No. 5-505, entitled, "An Ordinance Making An
Appropriation For The General Corporate Fund, For The Motor Fuel Tax Fund, For
The Revenue Sharing Fund, For The Water Fund, For The Sports Core Bond Fund, For
The Sports Core Operating Fund, For The Policemen's Pension Fund, For The
Firemen's Pension Fund, And For Special Service Area #1 Fund For The Fiscal Year
Beginning May 1 , 1983 And Ending April 30, 1984 For The Village Of Oak Brook, Du
Page And Cook Counties, Illinois" ; and
WHEREAS, the Village has accrued additional revenue exceeding $285,000.00
during the current fiscal year (commencing May 1 , 1983 and ending April 30, 1984)
subsequent to the adoption of the aforementioned annual appropriation ordinance;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook that
$285,000.00 in accrued additional revenue be appropriated to the corporate fund
for the purchase of the property at 1308 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, this supplement appropriation will be funded from sources other
than the tax levy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows
Section 1: That Ordinance No. S-505 entitled, "An Ordinance Making An
Appropriation For The General Corporate Fund, For The Motor Fuel Tax Fund, For
The Revenue Sharing Fund, For The Water Fund, For The Sports Core Bond Fund, For
The Sports Core Operating Fund, For The Policemen's Pension Fund, For The
Firemen's Pension Fund, And For Special Service Area #1 Fund For The Fiscal Year
Beginning May 1, 1983 And Ending April 30, 1984 For The Village Of Oak Brook, Du
Page And Cook Counties, Illinois" is amended by adding the following under the
General Corporate Fund, under the sub-heading Village Hall Department Expense:
Village Hall Building Expense: Contract for
purchase of 1308 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook,
Illinois total appropriation - $285,000.00.
Section 2: That the total appropriation under the General Corporate Fund
for Village' - f all Department Expense be amended to read from $208,053.00 to
$493,053.00; that the total appropriation for all general corporate purposes be
amended to read from $7,336,828.00 to $7,621,828.00; and that the total
appropriation for all Village funds be amended from $12, 109,058.00 to
$12,394,058.00.
Section 3: That if any item or part of this Supplemental Appropriation
Ordinance zs for any reason held invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portion of such item or the remaining portions .of :this
Ordinance.
Section 4: This Supplemental Appropriation Ordinance is adopted pursuant
to the procedures set forth in the Illinois Municipal Code, Chapter 24 of the
Illinois Revised Statutes.
Section 5: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
publish this Or ina ance in pamphlet form.
Section 6: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its p sage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by
law.
