AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING ACTING
VILLAGE TREASURER AND FINANCIAL OFFICER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: Findings.
A. That Kathleen A Gregory, former Financial Officer of the
Village of Oak Brook and Village Treasurer, has resigned
her offices with the Village of Oak Brook.
B. That it is in the best interests of the Village that an
Acting Financial Officer and Acting Village Treasurer be
appointed until this office can be filled.
Section 2: Appointment.
That John H. Brechin, Village Manager, is hereby appointed
Acting Financial Officer and Acting Village Treasurer of the
Village of Oak Brook for a term commencing immediately and
ending as determined by the President and Board of Trustees.
Section 3: Signature Cards and Related Documents.
That the Acting Village Treasurer and Acting Financial Officer
is hereby authorized and directed to execute all signature
cards, facimile signature agreements and related documents
necessary for the proper administration of the offices of
Village Treasurer and .Financial Officer.
Section 4: Bond.
That a surety bond for John H. Brechin, Acting Village
Treasurer, is set at $100,000.00.
Section 5: Repeal of Inconsistent Ordinances.
That Section 2 of Ordinance G-253 appointing the former
Village Treasurer and all other ordinances or parts thereof
in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 6: Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval pursuant to law.
Passed this 12th day of June 1984.
