S-532 - 06/26/1984 - STORM WATER MANAGEMENT - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. S-532 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE CONNECTION OF SANITARY OR INDUSTRIAL WASTE SEWERS TO STORK WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEMS WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook is desirous of improving the roadway at the intersection of Butterfield. Road/22nd Street/Camden Court; and WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation proposes to make said improvements pursuant to a contract with the Village of Oak Brook; and WHEREAS, said contract identified as Intersection Improvement F.A.P. Route 131, State Section 55N-2(83) , Village Section 84-0003-00-TL, requires that certain parking and drainage regulations be undertaken by the Village of Oak Brook; and WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem the following regulation in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to discharge sanitary and industrial waste water into the storm sewers constructed as part of the Illinois Route 56 (Butterfield Road)/22nd Street/Camden Court intersection improvement, nor shall there by any discharge of waste water into any storm sewer in the Village of Oak Brook. Section 2: Any person, firm, or corporation violating this Ordinance shall be fined not less than FIVE DOLLARS ($5.00) nor more than FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed for each and every day during which a violation continues or exists. Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law. PASSED this 26th day of June , 1984.
