AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE CONNECTION OF SANITARY OR
INDUSTRIAL WASTE SEWERS TO STORM WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEMS
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook is desirous of improving the roadway
of Illinois Route 83 between south of East-West Tollway and north of Roosevelt
Road; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation proposes to make
said improvements, identified as Illinois Route 83 Improvement, F.A.P. Route 872,
State Section 543R-3(82) , Village Section 84-00014-00-TL, pursuant to an Agreement
with the Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement requires that certain parking and drainage
regulations be undertaken by the Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem the following regulation in the
best interest of the Village of Oak Brook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to discharge sanitary and industrial waste water into the storm sewers constructed
as part of the Illinois Route 83 improvement, nor shall there be any discharge of
waste water into any storm sewer in the Village of Oak Brook.
Section 2: Any person, firm, or corporation violating this Ordinance
shall be fined not less than TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS` ($25.00�- nor-more thdin.'FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($500.00) for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed
for each and every day during which a violation continues or exists.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
