S-570 - 10/22/1985 - ZONING - Ordinances ORDINANCE NO. S-. 570 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS TO THE ORA-2 ZONING DISTRICT (16th Street and Monterey Avenue) WHEREAS, on February 15, 1985, Vantage Companies filed an application with the Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook requesting that certain property in the area of 16th Street and Monterey Avenue, Oak Brook, Illinois, presently zoned R-4 be rezoned to ORA-2; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 17, 1985, the Plan. Commission recommended to the Village Board that the ,requested rezoning be denied; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the statutory legal notice, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at its meeting on July 2, 1985, recommended to the Village Board that the requested rezoning be granted and made certain findings of fact set forth in the Chairman of the Zoning Board's letter to the President and Board of Trustees _dated July 5, 1985 which the Village Board hereby adopts; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees deem it in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook that the below described parcels be rezoned to ORA-2 Office-Research-Assembly Zoning District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Section. 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.. Section 2: That the parcel legally described as: Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, Lots 18 and 19 (except that part described as follows: Beginning at the South East corner of said Lot 18; thence Westerly along the South lire of said Lot 18, being the North Right of Way lire of 16th Street, a distance of 41.50 feet; thence along a Northeasterly course, at an angle of 970 - 20' - 00" to the right of the last described course extended a distance of 21.00 feet; thence .along a Northeasterly course, at an angle of 170 - 19' - 00" to the right of the last described course extended, a distance of 27.50 feet; thence along a Northeasterly course, at an angle of 110 - 10' - 00" to the right of the last described course extended, a distance of 35.00 feet; thence along a Northeasterly course, at an angle of 190 -10' -00" to the left of the last described course extended to a point on the East line of said Lot 18; thence Southerly, along said East lire of Lot 18, being the West Right of Way line of State Route 83, a distance of 106.42 feet to the point of beginning) , and Lots 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 in Block 1 in Town. Development Company's Elmhurst Countryside Unit Number One, being a subdivision of part of the North East 1/4 of Section 22, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded June 22, 1945 as Document #479816, in DuPage County, Illinois. The proposed rezoning, in addition to the property noted above, will include that portion. of 16th Street within. the Village of Oak Brook West of Route 83. Permanent Parcel Nos. 06-22-205-018, 06-22-205-019, 06-22-205-020, 06-22-205-021, 06-22-205-025, 06-22-205-024, 06-22-205-023, 06-22-205-022, 06-22-205-008, 06-22-205-007, 06-22-205-006, 06-22-205-005, 06-22-205-004, and 06-22-205-003. be and is hereby rezoned from R-4 Single-Family Detached Residence District to ORA-2 Office-Research-Assembly District. Ordinance No. S- 570 Rezoning Certain Parcels to the ORA-2 Zoning District (16th Street & Monterey Avenue) Page two Section. 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the "Official Map of Zoning Districts of the Village of Oak Brook" in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of this Ordinance. Section 4: That all Ordinances, rules and regulations of the Village of Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict and only as they apply to the specific properties hereinabove described. Section. 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval all as provided by law.
