AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF CERTAIN STREETS
OR PUBLIC WAYS LOCATED WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Plat for the Old Oak Brook Subdivision has been recorded
with the Du Page County Recorder of Deeds as Document No. R84-102276; and
WHEREAS, said Plat contains the two public rights of ways, one
designated as "River Drive" and the other as "Creek Court" ; and
WHEREAS, although excavation of said Subdivision is underway, no homes
have yet been constructed; and
WHEREAS, the Developer of the Old Oak*Brook Subdivision has requested
that the name "River Drive" be changed to "Natoma Drive", and the name "Creek
Court" be changed to "Natoma Court"; and
WHEREAS, it is the- opinion of the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of 0ak Brook that the names of said streets or public ways should be
changed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the name of the street or public way heretofore known
and designated as River Drive located within the corporate limits of the Village
of Oak Brook be and the same is hereby changed and shall from, henceforth and now
on be known and designated as Natoma Drive.
Section 2: That the name of the street or public way heretofore known
and designated as Creek Court located within the corporate limits of the Village
of Oak Brook be and the same is hereby changed and shall from, henceforth and now
on be known and designated as Natoma Court-.
Section 3: That all official maps of the Village of Oak Brook shall be
changed in accordance with provisions of this Ordinance.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases made and provided.
