AN ORDINANCE NAMING A PREVIOUSLY UNNAMED STREET
"CASS COURT" WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, there is located within the Village of Oak Brook, Du?age and
Cook Counties, Illinois, an unnamed street which runs south of 35th Street and
west of Midwest Road; and
WHEREAS, Section 11-80-19 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised
Statutes authorizes the corporate authorities of each municipality to name any
street, avenue, alley, or other public place; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook deem thl�
passage of this Ordinance to be in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook,
DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth
are hereby restated herein as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the previously unnamed street within the Village of
Oak Brook which runs south of 35th Street and west of Midwest Road, is hereby
named "Cass Court" and said street shall hereafter be known as "Cass Court".
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed
to amend the official maps of the Village of Oak Brook to comply with the
provisions of this Ordinance.
Section 4: All ordinances, rules, and regulations of the Village of
Oak Brook which are in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed -o the extent of t^e conflict.
Section 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as provided by law.
