ORDINANCE ANNEXINrl CERTAIN TFRRITORY TO 06J6
IVHF, VILIAGE OF OAK BROOK. DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
PURSUANT TO SECTION 7-1-8 OF THE ILIXNOIS MUNICIPAL CODE r4 1'9-S'144x--
CHAPTER 24 OF THE ILLINOIS REVISED STATUTES —set
WHEREAS, a written petition, signed by the legal owners of record of all
land within the territary hereinafter described, has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook, Dupage and cook Counties, Illinois,
requesting that said territory be annexed to the Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, no electors reside within the said territory; and
WHEREAS, the said territory is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality, but �s contiguous to the V4-llage of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, due notice has been given to tb3 Oakbrook Terrace Fire Protection
District and its officers, and no part of said territory is part of any other
fire protection district or any public library district; and
WHEREAS, all legal requirements have been met in full compliance with the
terms of Paragraph 7-1-8 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes to
effectuate said annexation; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook that said
Lerritory be annexed thereto.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORMINED By THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROM, DUpAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set torth are
hereby adoptel as though fully set forth herein.
Secti.)ri 2: That the following described property be and the BASS is
hereby anle-Aed to the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and cook Counties, Illinois,
pursuant to Section 7-1-8 of the Municipal Code, Chapter 24, of the Illinois
Revised Statutes;
Lot 2 in Block I in Town Development Company's Elmhurst countryside Unit
Number Three, being a subdivision in the Southeast Quarter Section 22,
Township 39 North, Range 11, Fast of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to the plat thereof recorded November 13th, 1945 as Document
Number 487163, DuPage County, Illinois.
Permanent Parcel No. 06-22-409-002.
Section 3: That an accurate map of the annexed territory is attached
hereto labeli�-d "Exhibit A" and hereby made a part hereof.
Section 4: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to record with the
Recorder of Deeds and to file with the County Clerk, Cowity Election Authority
and the post office branch serving the above described property, a certified
capy of this ordinance.
Section 5: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as provided by law.
