AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SR�ION 12-405 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK RELATING TO LANDSCAPE SPRINKLING
WH AEAS, Section 12-405 of the C1de of Ordinances of the Village of Oak
Brook presently prohibits landscape sprinkling between certain hours and on
certain days; and
WHEREAS, periods of extreme dryness and limited rainfall have caused
the need to promulgate and enforce additional restrictions on landscape
sprinkling;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE YT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTERS
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTTZSS, ILLINOIS to folloxe:
That Sectic 12-405 of th® Code of Ordinances of the Village of Oak
Brcok be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 12-405. Landscapa sprinkling.
Landscape sprinkling as prohibited in section 12-403 shall be
permitted bet•ieen the tours of 7:00 p.m. until 7tOO a.m. on
even-number,�.t st,_eet addresses on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
nights and on oda-numbered street addresses on Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday nights. No sprinkling shall be allowed
on Mondays. In addition to said conditions, the Village
President and Board of Trustees may impose additional
restrictions on landscape sprinkling, including the total ban
thereof, all of which restrictions shall be enforceable
pursuant to the provisions of Section 12-406 of this Code of
Ordinances.
