S-671 - 05/23/1989 - ZONING - Ordinances a ORDINANCE S- 671 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS FROM R-1, SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT, TO R-3, SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED RESIDENCE DISTRICT (3300, 3304 ROSLYN ROAD) WHEREAS, an application has been filed requesting that the property commonly known as 3300 and 3304 Roslyn Road, Oak Brook, Illinois, presently zoned R-1, be rezoned to R-3; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 20, 1989, the Plan Commission recommended to the Village Board that the requested rezoning be granted; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 4, 1989, the Zoning Board of Appeals recommended to the Village Board that the requested rezoning be granted; and WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook have considered the recommendations of the said Plan Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals concerning the rezoning; and WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees deem it in the best interest of the Village of Oak Brook that the property be rezoned to the R-3 Single-Family Detached Residence Zoning District as said zoning represents the most appropriate zoning consistent with the highest and best use of the said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein. Section 2: That the hereinafter described property is hereby rezoned from R-1 to R-3 Single-Family Detached Residence District, which property is legally described as follows: Lot 1 and Lot 2 in Jorge's Subdivision, a subdivision of part of the West 494.51 feet of the East 989.02 feet of the North 440.58 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 33, Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian in DuPage County, Illinois. Recorded July 30, 1986 as Document No. R86-85440. Permanent Parcel #06-33-104-026 and 06-33-104-027. Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the official map of zoning districts of the Village of Oak Brook in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of this Ordinance. Section 4: That all ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict, but only as they apply to the specific property hereinabove described. Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after passage and approval as provided by law. PASSED THIS 23rd day of May , 1989.
