ORDINANCE S- 74n
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK
WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three fourths of the corporate
authorities of the Village of Oak Brook, it is no longer necessary or useful
to or in the best interests of the Village of Oak Brook to retain the
following described personal property in the possession of the Oak Brook
Library:
1 - Micro 8000 Modem, 4-Channel Micom, Model No. 8824/24,
SIN 19553-1;
1 - Lear Siegler ADM 5, SIN 34373
1 - CLSI 800 Keyboard w/Visual 055 CRT, SIN 011276055
1 - CLSI Laser, Model No. MS-080, SIN 208-344
1 - 25-Drawer Oak Card File Unit on Legs
3 - 15-Drawer Oak Card File Units w/o Legs
1 - Audio Storage Carousel (384 Cassette Capacity)
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook wishes to invite proposals for the
purchase of said personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 24, Section 11-76-4 of the Illinois
Municipal Code, Illinois Revised Statutes, the corporate authorities find that
the aforesaid personal property now owned by the Village of Oak Brook is no
longer necessary or useful to the Village of Oak Brook and the best interests
of the Village of Oak Brook will be served by its sale.
Section 2: Pursuant to said Section 11-76-4, the Village Manager be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to solicit proposals pursuant to the
attached Invitation.

Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, by at least three fourths of all the corporate
authorities, and approval in the manner provided by law.

following equipment:

This equipment will be sold "As Is" and can be inspected at the Village of Oak
Brook Library by appointment only. Please contact Joanne Fritter at (708)
990-2222.
All sealed bids will be received in the Village Manager's office of the
Village of Oak Brook located at 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, IL 60521 by
10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 1992. The Village of Oak Brook reserves the
right to accept or reject any and all bids.
