AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PREVIOUSLY NAMED STREET
WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, IL
WHEREAS, there is located within the corporate limits of the Village of
Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, IL a certain street heretofore sometimes
known and designated as Phoebus Lane; and
WHEREAS, the Steeplechase Community Association has requested that the
name of Phoebus Lane be changed from Phoebus Lane to Coventry Lane;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth
are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the name of the street heretofore known and designated
as Phoebus Lane located within the corporate limits of the Village of
Oak Brook, as depicted on the Plat of Subdivision dated September 29, 1977,
recorded as Document No. R77-88226 and incorporated herein by reference, be
and the same is hereby changed and shall from now on be known and designated
as Coventry Lane.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
amend the official maps of the Village of Oak Brook to comply with the
provisions of this Ordinance and to cause the recordation of a certified copy
of this Ordinance in the office of the DuPage County Recorder.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be effective 30 days from and
after notification by the corporate authorities in writing by certified mail
to the DuPage County Board of Election Commissioners, the Oak Brook Post
Office and the 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System Board of the change of street
name.
