R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the OAK BROOK ASSOCIATION OF COI =CE AND INDUSTRY, has
actively sought to be informed on matters of general concern to the
Oak Brook business community; provided news and development of mutual
interest and importance concerning the business community; provided a
forum for discussion of matters of general concern to the business
community; provided liaison with the Village and other governmental
jurisdictions and with other interests in the community; and engaged
in such other activities which may, from time to time, have been
appropriate to further the basic objective; and
WMBREAS, the OAK BROOK ASSOCIATION OF CCU WcE AND INDUSTRY, has
faithfully and with dedication and distinction served the Village of
Oak Brook since October, 1967 and is celebrating its 25th Anniversary;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion
that a record of such Anniversary should be made and spread upon the
records of said Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said OAK BROOK
ASSOCIATION OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY be and hereby is commended for
its 25 years of service to the Village of Oak Brook and the business
community thereof.
BE IT FARTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its
business community, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude
to the said OAK BROOK ASSOCIATION OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this
Resolution be delivered to the said OAK BROOK ASSOCIATION OF CONID�RCE
AND INDUSTRY and that this Resolution be spread upon the official
permanent records of said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this
14th day of July, 1992.
