R-561 - 06/09/1992 - WATER - Resolutions Supporting Documents d : i VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK 1200 OAK BROOK ROAD ! OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS 60521-2255 i I June 2, 1992 70 eyo•;oOC+ MEMO T0: Village President and Board of Trustees FROM: Michael J. Meranda, Supt. Public Works SUBJECT: Attached Resolutions - DuPage Water Commission Pressure Adjusting Station Reimbursement R,BC[11/VI1/BX That the Village President and Board of Trustees adopt the attached raolutions accepting the Pressure Adjusting Stations for purposes ;related solely to establish the full reasonable reimbursement for pressure adjusting station construction due under the contract with the DuPage Water Commission. This is the second and final reimbursement request we will be submitting to the DuPage Water Commission for the construction of our three pressure adjusting stations. In order to submit our reimbursement documentation, we must adopt the attached resolutions which establishes the reimbursable amounts. As we have encountered some difficulties in closing out both contracts, which is normally required by the Commission prior to the Submittal of the reimbursement request, we have been able to work with the Commission and said resolutions are the re:cult of those communications. The resolutions are for the sole: purpose of reimbursement and have no bearing on the status of the project(s) . These resolutions have been reviewed by Attorney Martens and he has found them to be in order. Therefore, with adoption of the attached resolutions, we will submit all the required documentation for reimbursement in the amount of $519,804.30. Once reviewed and approved by the DuPage Water Commission (we have already gone through a preliminary review with them) payment will be received by late June or early July. Please see exhibit #1 which identifies both this request and our first reimbursement request.
