MN T RESOLUTION R- 569 A604AJ ASST.+ PLAN RIOVIAW SR A RrJOLUT.IOM APPROVING A BZCK D ANXNDNNW TO THE E!"YEE PAY PLAN FOR 1992 WHEREAS, the Village President has previously approved the 1992 Employee Pay Plan; and WHEREAS, at passed regular meeting the AEmployee President and Board of Trustees pass pp R-557; and WHEREAS, the Employee Pay Plan for 1992 has been amended by Resolution R-568 on August 11, 1992; and WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate to further amend the Employee Pay Plan so as to classify the newly created positions of Administrative Assistant as a Grade 7, and Plan Reviewer/Chief Building Inspector as a Grade 9, and to eliminate the position of Assistant Building Commissioner, Grade 6; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows: Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth aLe hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein. Section 2: That the salary schedule made part of this Resolution be and is hereby amended so as to classify the position of Administrative Assistant. ae Grade 7 which has a current annual salary range of $29,832 to $40,273, Plan Reviewer/Chief Building Inspector as Grade 9 which has a current annual salary range of $35,732 to $48,239, and eliminate the position of Assistant Building Commissioner, Grade 6. Section 3: That the Pay Plan be and is hereby amended to read as set forth in the attached Exhibit A. section on 4: That the attached job descriptions for the positions of Administrative Assistant and Plan Reviewer/Chief Building Inspector, hereby attached as Exhibit B, be and are hereby approved. Work involves the following: 1) Review of building and sitzoninnsrfor compliance with adopted building codes an g 2) Multi-discipline inspection of construction activities, 3) Supervision of building, plumbing, and electrical inspectors. 4) Supervision of the building department secretary. 5) Assist the department head in preparing annual budget requirements. The work requires developed communication and supervisory skills. It is performed under general supervision and requires a person who is a self starter withtor ood of C anizatio al skills.
