WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of. Oakbrook that
the residents of said Village, and particularly the business and
Industry within said Village, have recognized a need for better
postal service; said
WHEREAS, a Committee has been formed by the business and
industry groups within the Village of Oakbrook to take what
action is possible to the and of obtaining &-:post office in and
for the Village of Oakbrook; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook desire to aid in such endeavors to the
greatest extent possible;
HOWy_ T08M, HE IT RESOLVED by the President and the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbzooks
Segttion 1. That the President and'Board of Trustees do
hereby go on record °ae favoring an application fors post office
Iodated within the Village of Oakbrook to service the residents
thereof.
Section 2. That the President be and he is hereby author-
ized on behalf of the Village Government to take whatever.866p8 he
deems necessary to aid in the favorable consideration of such re-
quest by the proper £authorities.
