RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, CHRIS NYBO is a respected citizen of the County of DuPage and the State of
Illinois; and
WHEREAS, he served his constituents well in the 41st District as a Representative of the Illinois
State House of Representatives from 2011 -2013; and
WHEREAS, during his legislative career CHRIS NYBO has contributed considerably to the
welfare of the residents of Oak Brook, including forcefully and successfully advocating for a bill which
passed the House and would have overturned unfair 2007 legislation that had the effect of adding
several hundred thousand dollars to the Village's Sheriff's Law Enforcement Pension liability; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a record of such faithful
service should be made and spread upon the records of said Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook that the said CHRIS NYBO be and is hereby commended for his faithful service to the
Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
gratitude to the said CHRIS NYBO for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be delivered to the
said CHRIS NYBO and that this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said
Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 12th day of February, 2013.
