VI. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Recommendation - Ben Fuller Museum Association - Flood Plain Special Use
(3803 York Road):
The Plan Commission, at its meeting of November 19, 1990, and the Zoning
Board of Appeals, its meeting of December 4, 1990, recommended
approval of the rwy~+sested flood plain special use permit subject to
certain conditions.
Trustee Winters moved, seconded by Trustee Maher to direct the Village
Attorney to prepare the necessary documentation to approve requested
modifications to the Flood Plain Special use Permit subject to the
following conditions:
1. Compliance with any and all FEMA requirements as well as a
resolution of the floodway issue.
2. Provision of compensatory storage equal to 1.5 times the volume of
fillplaced in the floodplain.
3. Approval by the Illinois Division of Water Resources, Village of
Hinsdale, our Village Engineer and other appropriate governmental
Entities.
4. Limiting this epecial use permit to the current applicant for use as
a historic museum as proposed. Voice Vote: all ayes, no nays.
Motion Carried.
B. Oak Brook Historical Society Request for Representation from Village for {
Preservation Coalition/Mayslake Historic Site:
The Village Board concurred with the. recommendation of President Cerne
to request Plan commission Marcy's appointment of a member from the Plan
Commission to the Preservation Coalition and present a quarterly report
to the Village Board from said coalition.
C. Discussion - State Income Tax Surcharge:
Trustee Bushy moved, seconded by Trustee Payovich to pass a resolution
supporting the extension of the State Income Tax Surcharge in the form j
of the DuPage Mayors and Managers conference Resolution and forward said
Resolution No. R-516 A Resolution Supporting Extension Of The Income Tax
Surcharge to our respective members of the General Assembly. Roll Call
Vote:
Ayes: 7-Trustees Bartecki, Bushy, Maher, Payovich, Rush, Winters and
President Cerne
Nays: 0-None
Absent: 0-Nune
Motion carried.
D. Recommendation - To Accept Proposal for 1991 Fireworks Program:
Upon request from Sports Core Manager McAdams and Manager Berley, the
Hotel Convention Committee will include a $5,000.00 proposed
contribution in their 91/92 budget proposal for the 1991 Village
independence Day fireworks celebration which will be given to the Board
for review at its March Committee-of-the-Thole meeting.
