RESOLUTION R- 518
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE
MAYSLAKE PROPERTY
Be it resolved by the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook,
an Illinois municipal corporation, situated in DuPage and Cook Counties, as
follows:
WHEREAS, the Oak Brook Historical Society has expressed an interest in
supporting investigation of the preservation of the Mayslake area in the
Village of Oak Brook; and
WHEREAS, the Oak Brook Historical Society has asked the Village to
express its support for these efforts, without implication relative to
financial assistance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DUP PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth
are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein;
Section 2: That it supports the concept of further investigation and
review of the feasibility of preservation of the Mayslake property and
structures thereon and alternatives thereto;
Section 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after passage and approval as provided by law.
PASSED AND IMPROVED this 26th day of February , 1991 by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook
Counties, Illinois, according to a roll call vote as follows:
Ayes: Trustees Bartecki, Bushy, Maher, Payovich, Rush, [Minters and President Cerne
Nays: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
