RESOLUTION 5—i4-91
WHEREAS, JOSEPH H. RUSH, has faithfully and with dedication and distinction
served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Zoning Board of
Appeals from January, 1967 through May, 1967 and from May, 1975 through October,
1975; and
WHEREAS, the said JOSEPH H. RUSH, has also faithfully and with dedication
and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the
Board of Trustees from May, 1967 to May, 1975 and from October 1975 through
April, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the said JOSEPH H. RUSH, has also served the community in many
other ways including President of the Oak Brook Civic Association, Chairman of the
Oak Brook Civic Association's Zoning and Annexation Committee, President of the
Fullersburg Woods Area Association, and a member of the Oak Brook Presidents
Club; and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said service,
JOSEPH H. RUSH has given willingly of his time, effort and expertise, contributing
materially thereby to the progress and well-being of the said Village and its citizens;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion that a
record of such faithful service should be made and spread upon the records of
said Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook that said JOSEPH H. RUSH be and he hereby is commended
for his faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizens, do
hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude to the said JOSEPH H. RUSH for his
many civic services as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be
delivered to the said JOSEPH H. RUSH and that this Resolution be spread upon the
official permanent records of said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 14th day of May,
1991.
