It is with great pride and gratitude that the Village and its citizens record upon the Village Records such service to the United States. As you will be in town, I will be presenting the original of this resolution to you at the Village's Independence Day Celebration on July 3, 1991 (rain date July 4th). As you know, we have arranged for a U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter to pick you up on Field #1 (at approximately 7:40 p.m.) of our Sports Core property (see enclosed map) and drop you off on Field #2. A vehicle will be waiting to escort you to the Bandstand at which time the tribute to our service men and women who have served in the Persian Gulf will commence. The time schedule, of course, will vary. however, I have arranged for our Sports Core Manager, Chuck McAdams, to work out the details and contact you to finalize the plans. I, On behalf of the Village Board of Trustees and the residents of Oak Brook, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, again, for your courageous service to our Country. Sincerely, i Karen M. Bushy Village President . it KMB/mr:resap Knclosure cc: Mr. R Mrs. John N. Craig Stephen Berley, Village Manager Chuck McAdams, Sports Core Manager i
