A RESOLUTION APPROVING A To
EMPL0rZZ PAY PLAN' FM 1991
WHEREAS# pursuant to Article II (Pay Plan) of the Personnel Rules and
Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook (Appendix D to the Code of Ordinances)
the Village Manager is charged with developing a uniform and equitable pay
plan with the approval of the Village Board= and
WHEREAS, in the past, part-time employees, regular part-time employees
and interns have not been included in the Village's pay plans; and
WHEREAS, at its r gulas a►eeting on February 12, 1991, the President and
Board of Trustees g9ass d aad approves! the Employee Pay Plan for 1991 by
Resolution R-517; and
WHEREAS, the Village Manager has recommended that the 1991 Pay Plan be
amended by including a salary schedule for newly hired part-time employees,

regular part-time employees and interns; and' .
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting un October 22, 1991, the President and
Board of Trustees considered and approved the Manager's proposed amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESMVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
section iz That the. provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section- 2: That the Employee Pay Plan for 1991 approved on February 12,
1991 by R-517 is amended by adding the attached salary schedule for
part-time employees, regular part-time employees and* interns; this salary
schedule shall affect only part-time employees, regular part-time employees
and interns hired on or after November 12, 1991, the effective date of this
salary schedule.

Counties, Illinois, according to a roll call vote as follows:

Fire $6.50 - $12.00 Per Hour
Library $4.25 & $10.67 Per Hour**
Sports Core $3.50 & $12.50 Per Hour**
All Interns $5.00 - $ 8.50 Per Hour
*Hired on or after November 12, 1991.
**There are a number of ranges within these dollar amounts. . The
lower figure is the minimum hourly pay in the lowest range; the
higher figure is the maximum hourly pay in the highest range.
