RESOLUTION R- 549
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A11ENDIONTS
TO TM qNpIAYEE PAY PLEN FOR 1991
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article II (Pay Plan) of the Personnel Rules and
Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook (Appendix D to the Code of Ordinances)
the Village Manager is charged with developing a uniform and equitable pay
plan with the approval of the Village Board; and
WHEREAS, the Village Manager and Sports Core Director have recommended
the approval of certain changes in staffing the Sports Core; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for filling the recommended positions as soon
as possible; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have considered the
proposed staffing and reorganization of the Sports core and approve its
immediate implementation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:

Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth
are hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the 1991 Employee Pay Plan is amended as follows:
a) The position of Secretary of the Sports Core is deleted;
b) The position of Banquet Sales/Secretary of the Sports Core is added;
said position shall be at the Grade 4 level;
c) The position of Bath and Tennis Clubhouse Manager is deleted;
d) The position of Chef is deleted, and
e) The position of Food and Beverage Manager/Chef is created; said
position shall be at the Grade 5 level.
Section 3s The Village Board finds that the foregoing amendments to the
1991 Employee Pay Plan conform with the guidelines set forth in the Salary
Administration Plan which was previously adopted by the Board on February 28,
1984, pursuant to Resolution R-362.
Section 4: That the foregoing amendments to the Employ4e Pay Plan for
1991 are hereby approved.
