R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, ELAINE D. HERMAN, has faithfully and with
dedication and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in her
capacity as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals from
September, 1987 through January, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the said ELAINE D. HERMAN, has also served the
community in many other ways including as a member of the Midwest
Club Homeowner' s Board, the Oak Brook Civic Association Board,
and the Butler and Brook Forest Schools Parent-Teacher
Associations; and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of
said service, ELAINE D. HERMAN has given unselfishly of her time,
effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to the
progress and well-being of the said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the
opinion that a record of such faithful service should be made and
spread upon the records of said Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said ELAINE D.
HERMAN be and she hereby is commended for her faithful service to
the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said
Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
gratitude to the said ELAINE D. HERMAN for her civic service as
aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this
Resolution be delivered to the said ELAINE D. HERMAN and that
this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of
said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois,
this 25th day of February, 1992 .
