Attached is a resolution approving the amendments to the 1992 Employee Pay
Plan (Exhibit #A), which was reviewed by the Board at its meeting of March 24,
1992, as well as amendments to the Salary Administration Plan (Exhibit #B) for
your review and approval.
Before the Salary Administration Plan was restructured in September 1990,
Grade 11 included only the Finance Officer positin,, which eisia department
head position. When the Plan was revised in September,
was moved up to Grade 12 with all other department heads, and moving into
Villagelmanagerhea positions ttnow Director of Code Enforceme captain, Assistant
The present language of the Salary Plan under Section 11, Guidelines C, states
that:
Grades 1 though 11 shall have a 35% spread from entrance heads and shall be
salary paid. Grades 11 and 12 include only depart
developed with a 45% spread.
We recommend that this language be amended to read the following$
Grades 1 through it shall have a 359 spread from heentrance to maxim
salary paid. Grade 12 includes only department
developed with a 45% spread.
The Salary Plan attached contains this revised language for your review and
approval.
