RESOLUTION R- 575
A RESMUTI0N AUTWRIEING EXECUTION OF
LEASE MW OPTION To PURCHASE
DUMP TRUCK
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook have
determined that a need exists for the acquisition of one tandem axle dump
truck ("Equipment") described in the Municipal Lease and Option Agreement
presented at this meeting; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities have taken the necessary steps,
including any legal bidding requirements, under applicable law to arrange for
the acquisition of such Equipment.
BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
OAK BROOK, COOK AND DUPAGE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, that the Municipal Lease and
Option Agreement substantially in the form attached hereto is in the best
interests of the Village of Oak Brook for the acquisition of such Equipment
and the corporate authorities designate and confirm the Village President and
Village Clerk to execute and deliver, and to witness (or attest),
respectively, the Municipal Lease and Option Agreement, with such changes
thereto as such persons deem appropriate, and any related documents necessary
for the consummation of the transactions contem-plated by the Municipal Lease
and Option Agreement:

f FURTHERMORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the corporate authorities hereby
represent that the reasonably anticipated amount of qualified tax-exempt
obligations which have been and will be issued by the Village of Oak Brook
does not exceed $10,000,000 for the calendar year within which this Municipal
Lease and Option Agreement is to be a "qualified tax-exempt obligation"
pursuant to Section 266(b)(3) of the internal Revenue Code.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th day of October , 1992, by the
President and Board. of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, Cook and DuPage
Counties, Illinois, according to a roll call vote as follows:
