R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, H. RICHARD WINTERS, has faithfully and with dedication
and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a
member of the Board of Trustees from May, 1985 through April, 1993;
and
WHEREAS, the said H. RICHARD WINTERS, has also served the Village
of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Zoning Board of
Appeals from June, 1984 through April, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the said H. RICHARD WINTERS, has also served the
community in other ways including membership in the Oak Brook
Presidents Club, the Oak Brook Civic Association as a Board Member,
the Oak Brook Community Caucus Committee, and past President of the
Saddle Brook Community Association; and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said
service, H. RICHARD WINTERS has given unselfishly of his time, effort
and expertise, contributing materially thereby to the progress and
well-being of the said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion
that a record of such faithful service should be made and spread upon
the records of said Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said H. RICHARD WINTERS
be and he hereby is commended for his faithful service to the Village
of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its
citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude to the
said H. RICHARD WINTERS for his civic service as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this
Resolution be delivered to the said H. RICHARD WINTERS and that this
Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of said
Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this
11th day of May, 1993 .
