R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, DONALD A. SANDSTEDT, has faithfully and with
dedication and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in his
capacity as a member of the Plan Commission from May, 1984
through June, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the said DONALD A. SANDSTEDT, has also served the
community in other ways including President of the Falcon
Football Program in Hinsdale, the Boy Scouts of Oak Brook, and
Grounds Committee Chairman for Brook Forest; and
WHEREAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of
said service, DONALD A. SANDSTEDT has given unselfishly of his
time, effort and expertise, contributing materially thereby to
the progress and well-being of the said Village and its citizens;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are of the
opinion that a record of such faithful service should be made and
spread upon the records of said Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook that the said DONALD A.
SANDSTEDT be and he hereby is commended for his faithful service
to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said
Village and its citizens, do hereby extend their appreciation and
gratitude to the said DONALD A. SANDSTEDT for his civic service
as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this
Resolution be delivered to the said DONALD A. SANDSTEDT and that
this Resolution be spread upon the official permanent records of
said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois,
this 13th day of July, 1993.
